At six, a machine to help someone see.
The first thing I built turned light into sound — so someone who couldn't see could read a room.
I was six. My older sister and I wired a light sensor onto our mother's glasses — dark rang one way, an approaching wall another. It won a national TÜBİTAK award, and handed someone a sense back.
Ever since, I've chased the same moment: when a person can suddenly do what they couldn't.

The lab, not the lecture hall.
Curiosity met rigor.
I studied computer engineering, concentrated in AI, and all but lived in the labs. My algorithm stripped shadows from nine-band imagery without losing a pixel. I designed a new endoscope. The unglamorous work — the kind that decides whether a system earns trust.
I taught it, too — 55 students a semester, because explaining an idea is how you own it. MIT sharpened the rest: the data.

Scale is a discipline, not an accident.
At Microsoft, I worked the seams between executives, engineers, sales, and product. I turned strategy into systems companies could rely on, and learned how the biggest companies actually build.
The work I cared about most never made the job description. I founded the Female Technical Talent Program and ran it — cohort after cohort, 90% into technical roles. Real careers. That's what the technology is for.

The glasses had one user. My company has a bigger subject — I'm building AI that extends what an organization can do, where clean data and human judgment beat the noise.
Quiet. Deliberate. Bigger than any one product. Ideas were never the rare part. Building is.
